"I think the NIE program is a great way to develop life-long readers who take an interest in the world around them. There are so many activities like the serial stories, the contests, and the character building, just to mention a few that add to my curriculum. I feel that it gives my classroom an extra edge.

Being a Spanish teacher, the newspaper is an excellent tool. We translate every day and on Wednesday the kids love to work with the curriculum materials that you sent us. Thank you so much and I look forward to another year!
